An idea to create this project came to David Unsaved several years ago when he read Terenti Graneli's poetry. But at that time he was busy with his other projects like dark ambient and brutal death metal. Only in May 2012 he decided to create Ennui so he offered Sergi Shengelia to play with him and he immediately accepted. Literally next day they decided to write songs for album and one month later when material was ready they started recordings at Sergi Shengelia's own home studio. In the middle of work they were contacted by independent label from Moscow - MFL Records. They started to cooperate and shortly a first album was finished.
